We're back. Just popped over to the Canaries (like you do) for a weeks holiday.

We stayed at the Faro Jandia Hotel on Fuerteventura. If you're thinking of visiting Fuerteventura we can honestly recommend the Faro Jandia.

Although an hour on the coach transfer (which absolutley flies by) the resort is worth the effort. If you don't fancy the pool, go down to the beach. Lovely golden sand, loungers right on the waterfront, and if you fancy a walk, the beach stetches for miles.

There are plenty of shops to look round if you happen across a cloudy day. In the week we were there (mid Jan) we had one cloudy day and decided to walk some of the beach, do the shops on the way back. Then we found Air Hockey ! What an ace game, try it out at one of the arcades. We got a league going and on leaving the island the score was Steven 4 Dawn 3 Drawn 1. The hotel also has a Spa an indoor pool and a gym. Dawn had a pedicure a manicure and several visits to the spa pool. You really are spoilt for choice and a dull day will just mean different activities. The sun while we were there was bright and averaged about 76 degrees, nice and hot enough for us, we came back with a nice bit of colour. Check out the photos.
