SMALLS TALK

SMALLS TALK

Last night was the closing night of the Bourne Footlights production of Swan Song and the exellently performed comedy, Smalls Talk.

Smalls talk follows the goings on at a Lady Lace lingerie party. Linda, played by Sue McQueen, is hosting the party with her friend Carol, Neena Quinlan. Dawn, Dawn Phelan, the Lady Lace rep quickly finds herself drawn in to a plot to transform Emma, Sarah Firth, from tramp to vamp with a quite unexpected twist. Dot, Lynda Lock, plays a wonderfully honest role in her observations on the Lady Lace line of lingerie and Tracy, Ann Beech, does the same with Emma. Intertwined with the plot is a quite bamboozled Rex, John Megson, whos' Peapod wine fuels the ladies scheming. An hilarious play directed by Kate Elliot, it was truly a credit to Playwrights Sue and Clive Read.

Now you've read the review (totally unbiased of course) why not check out the slideshow.

Congratulations to all the players on an brilliant play. Role on the next production......
